A Relaxing Week in Greece

After the first weeks of my volunteering experience, I had the chance to take a week off and spend it with my family in Greece by the sea.

Getting there was already a small adventure for me. I travelled alone by FlixBus to the train station and then took a regional bus to the airport to meet my family. Even though it was a little exciting to organise everything on my own, I was proud that I found my way and that everything worked out.

The week itself was much more relaxed. We enjoyed the beautiful weather, spent a lot of time by the sea, and went snorkelling whenever we could. I saw many different fish, which was especially exciting for me. There is something magical about putting your head under the water and suddenly discovering a completely different world.

Most of all, it felt really good to spend time with my family again. After not seeing them for such a long time, I really appreciated having a whole week together. It was a peaceful break from everyday life and a chance to relax, enjoy the sun and the sea, and simply be together.

After this week, I felt refreshed and grateful—not only for the beautiful time in Greece, but also for the opportunity to reconnect with my family before returning to my life and adventures in Bulgaria.
