Work in the construction

When I came to Vegetarium seven weeks ago, one of my first tasks was to help Tim with the installation of insulation in the new house. The work was dusty and not easy but over the weeks, we finished the last walls.

Now that was done, we started to installing insulation boards to cover the walls. I’m happy to contribute with my knowledge as an electrician to install the electric wiring in the walls. It is very satisfying to see the results of my work and how the house gets done bit by bit.

One week ago, we had a two days work action to replace the floor in one room because it was not done properly before. We got it done in a little time with concentrated teamwork.

The last weeks, my daily routine was to work in the construction till lunch and do some other work in the afternoon. I’m very happy with this routine and to be able to work on a valuable project at my own pace for a longer period of time.
