Second week at vegetarium

The second week was packed with all sorts of activities. I spent time gathering firewood for the winter, and we worked on fixing up a clay/cob house, where I had to learn how to prepare clay mortar and how to fill in the walls. We also painted signs for the new trail and put them up, plus we refreshed the trail marking all the way to Cerovo.

During the week, I helped out with the cooking and was in charge of the kitchen, which gave me the chance to learn how to make rice and pick up a lot of new knowledge about various herbs.

I also took a trip to Zverino, where we had to cross the Iskar River and went through several caves. Another highlight was going to the fire ceremony at our neighbor Raidas’s place—we played music, ate, and overall had a really fun time. On top of that, we had a few gatherings where we watched movies and just talked.

All in all, it was a very pleasant week, filled with great emotions and enjoyable experiences.
