Birthday party and trip to Burgas

This week I had my 30th birthday and after that a trip to Burgas. The birthday was amazing, everyone was very nice and we had a nice little celebration in the evening. Two people made a cake (very sweet and delicious!) and we had music and electric lanterns. It is the dry season at the moment, so we did not make a bonfire. It was really nice to spend time together and chat. I even received a few presents, for which I am very grateful and I did not expect.

The day after the birthday party another volunteer and I packed our bags and left for a trip to Burgas. The way to get there was easy – we switched trains once in Sofia. In Burgas we spent 2 whole days. We visited the mud pools, went to swim in the ocean, and visited the city center. It was a good trip. On Saturday I travelled back to vegetarium on my own.

For the upcoming week, I am looking forward to doing more work in the garden, getting back into rhythm with exercises and practices, and learning more about life in vegetarium.
