A Walk In The Forest

Ever since winter arrived here and the cold and wind spread across the Balkan Mountains, our tasks and responsibilities have slightly decreased. Since I have only a little time left in this magnificent and beautiful mountain, I decided that after finishing my tasks, I would use my free time to explore the area.

On the first day I set off, I walked for quite a long time. I reached a group of abandoned houses and went inside some of them. I found many interesting things — memories and photographs forgotten by everyone, various objects and broken items. After that, I continued walking for hours. As it started getting dark, I checked my map to see where I was heading and noticed that I was approaching Bov, the neighboring village. However, my phone battery was running low, so I had to hurry.

After about another hour, I arrived in Bov safe and sound. I found a small restaurant to charge my phone and ordered the most delicious soup and some bread rolls for 2.50 leva. After eating, I checked the train schedule to Tserovo, as I still didn’t know there was a direct path to Bov — and it was already dark.

The train arrived in no more than ten minutes, and I got on. When I told the conductor I was going to Tserovo, he didn’t even ask me for money since it was just the next station. I arrived in no time and started climbing the familiar path from Tserovo to the Vegetarium. I needed to get there quickly because the horses were waiting for me to switch them. After about an hour of climbing, I arrived, changed the horses, and, very happy after such an interesting day, went to bed and slept sweetly.
