The tree planting

During my time here, Filip organized another volunteer tree-planting day in the forest. On the day we were supposed to go, our whole group of volunteers from the Vegetarium community in the mountains, my boyfriend, and a few friends I had invited gathered and went to the planting site.

On the way, we saw many beautiful places, lots of mushrooms, old abandoned houses, and amazing views, it was wonderful. When we arrived, the first thing we did was collect firewood and wait for the other people to come before starting. Just as we lit a big fire, the others arrived in a large truck.

When everyone was there, Filip quickly showed us how to plant the trees correctly, and we started working. We split into three groups and planted many trees. But after a while, it started raining heavily, so we went to rest and have something to eat by the fire.

I met many friendly and interesting people there, and I’m really happy I went, even though we got wet from the rain. It was truly an unforgettable and wonderful experience.
