The Guest
A few days ago, I had a wonderful experience with my best friend, who decided to come from Denmark and managed to visit me for two days at the Vegetarium. Since I had taken some days off before he came and had gone to Burgas to see my family and my boyfriend, I had to catch the first train at 5 a.m. to go and meet him in Sofia.
The train ride was pleasant and refreshing. I listened to music and read a book, and even managed to get some sleep before arriving. When I got to Sofia, we met at a bank because he had some thinks to do. After that, we went to a very nice café with unique teas and healthy food. It was very pleasant, with a cool atmosphere, and you could sit on the floor or on beanbags. We talked and had fun there.
After sitting for a while, we headed to the train station to catch the train, but when we got on, it didn’t move, and we realized it was the wrong train, and ours had already left. So we bought new tickets and waited for about an hour. The train we took was very old, and the electricity cut off from time to time, and the seats’ springs could be felt, but we survived it.
We arrived in Tserovo and started climbing the path toward the Vegetarium. It was a bit dark, but we made it fine and slept well. The next day I had some tasks, but Jay accompanied me and helped me with everything. In the afternoon, we took the horses for a ride for a few hours. It was very pleasant, but at some point, it got quite cold, so we started heading back. Just before we arrived, we heard wolves howling, then dogs, so we hurried even more. When we got there, we left the horses nearby.
After that, we went home, ate, and watched a movie, but we were so tired that we fell asleep immediately. The next day, I had to see him off at Tserovo station. After saying goodbye, I sat for a bit at a small shop and then continued uphill until I reached the top. It was a very pleasant experience.
