Some days in Sofia

When I went travelling this time, I was really excited as it was my first time ever to travel so long on my own. The first stop on my journey was Sofia where I stayed for two nights. 

I liked to eat my breakfast in a park and while sitting on a bench I enjoyed the view. Feeling the subtle warmth of the first sunrays was a nice start of the day.

During the days I wandered around the city without having a specific destination in my mind. Through this I discovered nice places without expecting to find them.

I also explored some bookshops because even though I cannot read the books in Bulgarian I like to browse through the stores. 

Of course I could not miss the chance to see some of the city’s sights. For example, the National Theatre and the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, whose architecture is truly impressing.
