How to bake coconut balls
One day at the Vegetarium, I wanted to prepare something nice for the one volunteer’s birthday. I knew that she really liked cocoa and I remembered those coconut balls that I had sometimes made at the home. I wanted to try to make a healthy version of this originally Swedish treat which is also popular in Finland has become familiar for many through Ikea.
First, I cut some soaked dates into small pieces. Then I blended them with some oats. I added coconut oil, coconut flour, cocoa flour, water and a little bit of salt to the dough.
