First impression from my volunteering expirience in Vegetarium
When i first arrived in Vegetarium as a volunteer, everything was new: the tasks, the schedule, all the information…it felt like a lot. But as the days have passed, i’ve started to understand the tasks, to feel more at home, and most of all, to learn so many new things i didn’t expected.
One of my favourite parts of the day is taking care of the horses and chickens and also, i LOVE the cats!
Joanna has been an amazing guide- super patient, clear in her explanations, and always kind. Barbara is also very warm and friendly, always ready to support us with a smile. And Filip is such an interesting and kind person too, I’ve already learned so much from him in just a few days. He has a deep knowledge of nature, plants, herbs, and healthy living. Every conversation or task with him is an opportunity to discover something new and inspiring.
As for the food- it wasn’t really a surprise for me, since I had already visited Vegetarium a like a year ago for one day as a guest, and I knew it was healthy and balanced. Still, now that I’m living here, I can really feel how it supports both my body and my mind. Eating this way every day is helping me feel more energized and clear-headed.
And about the morning practices, i really enjoy them- they help me start each day feeling grounded, focused, and connected to myself.
The place itself is very, very beautiful. Surrounded by nature, peaceful, and full of positive energy. Even though I’ve only been here for a short time, I can already sense that this environment will help me grow, reset, and adopt a more mindful and healthy lifestyle.
Mila ^^
