Liquid Gold

In this weeks post i am going to write about the liquid fertilizer we make in Vegetarium. It is based on Rudolf Steiner’s version of a fertilizer. And it really is priceless for a place like this because the soil is so poor. It pays a huge part in our food production. This is how we make it :
We use this huge barrels and we fill them up with 2/3 nettles 1/3 dendile and some leaves from the black delusion plant. And fill it up with water. We wait for the fermentation process to start and later we add 1 kg of sugar + 100gr of bread yeast and 2 teaspoons of sourdough. And don’t be surprised when it starts to smell really bad it means it is working. The nastier it smells the better.
