Two days after getting back from Rila, I caught a cold and couldn’t do much for the rest of the week. The season noticeably shifted—heavy rain marked the beginning of autumn, and the temperatures dropped.
Despite feeling under the weather, we managed to work on the cob house and dug up potatoes. I also made a trip to Svoge to pick up some badges for my hiking hat. During this week, I tried out the task of collecting horse manure for the first time. It was a pleasant job since the weather was sunny, and getting out in the sun helped me feel better.
