Time at the Black Sea coast

> Burgas

Last week, Inka and I left Vegetarium to spend a few days in Burgas together. The first morning, we went to the salt and mud pools. It was something we both wanted to try out of curiosity, and it was quite fun to do. We didn’t stay there for too long because it can be harsh on the skin and body. We rinsed ourselves in the sea right after, which was surprisingly warm, and headed back to our Airbnb. We were quite tired from the last day of travelling, so we took it easy. We went out again in the evening to wander around the center of Burgas at night and eat something. The center was pretty, with a lot of warm lights and cute restaurants. This added to the fresh sea air and cool atmosphere felt like those holidays by the sea with my family. Then, the second day was made of shopping and swimming.

I stayed two more days after that because I had initially planned to visit the surroundings.

> Nessebar & Sozopol

Once Inka left, I took the opportunity to spend a day in Nessebar. I visited the old town in the morning, went swimming and chilled at the beach in the afternoon, and finished my day there by getting an ice cream alongside the port. Visiting the town early in the morning was a good idea because it quickly got crowded. The town was beautiful, filled with a mix of old houses, old churches and ruins, cute cafés, and surrounded by the sea. The sea was turquoise, which added to the beauty of the peninsula.

The next day, I was able to visit Sozopol old town, thanks to the Airbnb host lady who let me stay in the apartment for the whole day (I could leave my things there and clean later in the day). This peninsula was somehow similar to Nessebar but more touristic inland and wilder by the sea. I thought of going swimming there as well, but I had less time and there were jellyfish (big ones).

After finishing all the cleaning in the apartment, I left Burgas by night to head to Bansko for the rest of my holidays.

I really loved my time in Burgas, both with Inka and without her. It felt refreshing. Chilling with Inka gave me all the energy to visit the surroundings during the following days. I would have loved to stay longer in Burgas, but I couldn’t find any cheap accommodation at the last minute.
