Lil Visit

A few days ago, a white and orange cat appeared at Vegetarium. A really nice boy who probably missed the place. I don’t really remember his name, but he is one of our cats.

Besides Lyubjo, there are two other cats who live here at Vegetarium during the rest of the year. In summer, however, only Lyubjo stays, while the other two are taken down to the family house in Zhelen to give the local wildlife a chance to reproduce and live here.                                             And I can say that Lyubjo was more than enough of a predator here, always chasing stag beetles and lizards. The white and orange cat had barely arrived and he had already found a lizard. I managed to save it, but it still lost its tail in the process, which was honestly disgusting to witness.

He didn’t stay for long. In the afternoon, Joanna and Inka took the car to bring him back down to Zhelen. I was a bit sad to see him leave already, as he was such a nice and calm cat, but I know it’s for the best. (It will also save me from having to chase them every time they catch an animal.)

There is also another cat at the house in Zhelen, but this one stays there all year round. She is like the mascot there. I got to see her the last time I went down there with Joanna, and she is a beautiful and cuddly cat as well. — Is there even a mean cat here? —

The neighbours of this family house in Zhelen kindly feed them every day, which is a relief. Otherwise, it would have been a lot of extra work for us to make sure they were fed.

Honestly, I really like the fact that life here is surrounded by cats. It makes the time here even more enjoyable.
