Here, at the Vegetarium, I learned to always be ready for anything. Here in the mountains, and especially in the Vegetarium, anything can happen at any moment — it can start snowing, dogs can show up, various unfamiliar people (at least to me), the horses can run away, or the horses can wander into the garden… Basically, you get the idea.
At first, I complained, but now… now I truly enjoy the quality I have developed. Before coming here, back at home for example, when my mother asked me to go help with the groceries, I would go, but unwillingly, complaining the whole time. Now, however, not only is it not a problem for me to get up right away, but I actually enjoy it — I even offer on my own.
Because of this quality I built here, in the Vegetarium, not only am I no longer lazy — I’ve even started to feel restless in the best way. I’m constantly waiting for an opportunity to go get milk with the horses or to help clear a fallen tree from the road.
