Standing Up for Nature

One of those weeks we organized a protest to protect the mountains. It turned out there were plans to mine gold and uranium there, which would release radioactive gases and pollute the springs and rivers that so many people rely on.

Some days before the protest, we gathered in a small church in Svoge to make posters with the help of lots of kind kids and people. It was really fun, everyone was trying their best, and at the end the posters turned out beautiful, with really honest and strong messages. Being there with all those people, working together, made me feel like we were actually doing something that mattered, and we really did.
